All weddings are special to me, but this one was just extra wonderful to be a part of because I have known both the bride and groom for years. Not only was this wedding special because I knew just about everyone involved, but also because there was truly a personal element present throughout the entire event. I LOVE weddings at home, and theirs was held at Megan’s parents gorgeous home. Every detail was thought of and the end result was just beautiful. The Rehearsal Dinner was also very special. Chip’s mom Patti owns Oh Yumm Bistro and Catering at 56th and Illinois (quite possibly one of the best restaurants in Indy! If you haven’t been, go! Immediately. She also caters weddings and events!) His uncle owns G. Thrapp Jewelers right next door (again, by far one of the best in Indy!), so Patti actually catered the Rehearsal Dinner in the jewelry store. It was amazing how she transformed the space into an intimate and unique dining venue! And, finally, Megan owns Kiss Kiss Bang Bang salon in Fishers, so that’s where the girls got ready.
And one more to share…a big congratulations to (bridesmaid) Andrea and Tim whose wedding I photographed last year. They welcomed a sweet baby girl just a couple of weeks before the wedding! I have always known that Andrea would be an amazing mother, so it was wonderful to see her in action. Here is sweet little Miss H…

Thank you so much Megan and Chip for having me as part of your special day! It was so much fun, and I could not be happier for the two of you! Congratulations!!
