Have you heard of the Indianapolis Propylaeum? It’s truly one of the area’s best kept secrets! The Propylaeum was founded by May Wright Sewall in 1888 as a social and cultural center for Indianapolis women. In 1924, The Propylaeum purchased and moved to it’s current location 1410 N. Delaware street. The Propylaeum is the oldest private club owned and operated by and for women. The Tea Room is open for lunch M-F, and is seriously yummy! They also cater. There are a number of meeting rooms, overnight guest rooms and a ballroom on the third floor. And it is all just gorgeous! I am really looking forward to the wedding I will be photographing there this summer! www.thepropylaeum.org
