I will be out of town through Wednesday, April 1st. I will try to check email as often as possible, and will have my cell phone. Otherwise, I will get back to you when I return!

I love photographing Bar and Bat Mitzvahs! I have really been blessed to work with some wonderful families over the years, and this family was no exception. And this young lady…at a time when many girls struggle with self confidence and go through awkward phases, well, let’s just say that’s not Sarah. She is full of energy and personality!

Here is a little sneak peek – the rest should be online tomorrow, but I will be out of town for an event all day, so I don’t know that I will get to release them until late tomorrow night! Anyway, it was so wonderful to be a part of Emily and Luke’s wedding! The flowers were beautiful – seriously, I was blown away by them! And I love The Royal – it is definitely a simple and elegant, yet hip, venue! Both families were so nice, and such a pleasure to work with – thank you so much for having me as a part of your day!

The gorgeous flowers…

Emily’s mother mentioned the stained glass window at the church, and I was so excited when I saw it – beautiful and the sun was at a great angle!

This little one was so incredibly sweet and cooperative for our session! She had a nice little period of alertness and then slept for a few as well. She didn’t fuss until the very end when she was understandably a little tired and hungry! While I usually suggest newborn portraits within the first two weeks of life to get those really smooshy little newborn images, waiting until they’re a little bit older has it’s advantages too! They can have longer periods of alertness and show a little more personality during our session.

I’ve been waiting forever to post these because I just love them! Emily was married yesterday, so it’s safe to reveal the bridal session! She chose to do an urban bridal which is a fabulous idea, especially in the winter when nothing is in bloom. It’s fun, fresh and different!
