Here’s another sneak peek! Sam and Kevin had a beautiful wedding at St. Michael’s in Cary and reception at the Sheraton in Downtown Raleigh. It was a gorgeous day and we enjoyed the opportunity to stop at the Raleigh Rose Garden for pictures! Sam and Kevin were so great to work with, they were laid back and definitely enjoyed their day!

DJ Taylor Pittman, with Taylormade DJ Services, really got the guests into it! I definitely recommend him!

Seriously, he brings Village People costumes…

Notice the little boy, who ran in from the sidelines and jumped for it when she threw the bouquet!!

Mary and Stu were just so much fun to work with, and seriously, such a CUTE couple!! So, this is a sneak peek because I am travelling and having a little bit of trouble gaining remote access to Pictage. But I promise we are working on it! We couldn’t get it figured out before the holiday weekend though, so I thought I would get a few up for them to see, and then we can get back to work on resolving the issue on Tuesday. Anyway, Mary and Stu were married at Sacred Heart Cathedral in downtown Raleigh, which is so beautiful! And they held their reception at the Greystone Inn in Durham, which I just LOVED! It was an incredible setting, definitely check it out!

Congratulations, Mary and Stu!! And thanks again for having me as part of your day!

Oh, and one more big bonus of Mary and Stu’s wedding day! I got to work with the fabulous (“other”) Kate – DJ Kate Steiman of Across the Pond Entertainment! Seriously, a good DJ or band is so important! And, best of all, Kate is very reasonable!

I will post a few images from Mary’s gorgeous bridal session at Duke Gardens soon. Mary referred her friend Kelly (with the long blonde hair in the first photo), whose wedding I will be photographing this summer, so she received a FREE bridal session!

It was such a pleasure working with Jenny and David! David is detail oriented and organized which always makes my job easier! And Jenny is just as sweet as can be and very easy going, so that also made my job easier! And they both truly enjoyed the day, which definitely makes for great photos! Their wedding and reception were held at the Crabtree Marriott which is a wonderful venue.

And Jenny’s flowers were gorgeous!

Jenny and David decided to do pictures before the ceremony. I leave that decision entirely up to the couple. But, if you do decide to see each other beforehand, it’s still great to somehow have a special moment of seeing each other for the first time. Here is David’s reaction to seeing Jenny…

The Arboretum was looking especially beautiful during this session as it was just a few days before their annual Gala in the Garden. And, of course, these two sweethearts were just adorable! When I photographed them last Fall, little Miss A was barely toddling around. Now she is running full steam and climbing all over the place, which can be a bit of a challenge in a long dress, but she had fun! And they both enjoyed looking at all of the beautiful flowers. Ok, on to the cuteness…

I’m so excited! Southern Bride and Groom used one of my images! I knew they were talking about it, and had gotten my permission, but I was very happy when I picked up the Spring edition the other day and happened to see my image. It’s rather small, but, still, I am honored!
