No, not the flowers – British mothers! Amy’s mum was in town for a visit from England, and it was wonderful opportunity to capture the children with their grandmother! I love sessions with grandparents. It really is a special bond. I thought my mom was an amazing mother, but now, to see her as a grandmother (or “Gigi” – she’s way too hip for the term grandmother!), she is even more awesome! Which reminds me, I really need to post pictures from her birthday party this summer! It was a big milestone! Although, trust me, the pictures from the ‘after party’ will NEVER make it to the blog. Ok, anyway, back to the point..it was a pleasure to meet Amy’s mum, and fun to capture some generational photos!

Such sweetness! This precious little one belongs to one of my oldest friends. I was so excited to be in town when she made her way into the world! And, even more excited that she shares my name! Congratulations L family!

She was done with pictures by this time, but we did manage to sneak a few of the proud big sister with her new baby sister!

I love engagement sessions! And Duke Gardens is such a great place to do them! It’s also a great spot for family portraits, but little legs get tired walking around, so it’s hard to really explore the whole area. Supermodel-long legs like Caitlin’s don’t 🙂
