I photographed Laura and Matt’s awesome wedding last weekend, and am working on the images now, but wanted to share a few of Laura’s gorgeous bridal session! I knew Laura would be a beautiful bride! She kept saying that she wasn’t photogenic, but, I totally disagree.

Laura’s mother in law is a very talented artist, and she actually painted a huge portrait of Laura to display at the reception. It was amazing! Stay tuned for images from the wedding soon!!

I really enjoyed meeting Caroline and Marshall and being a part of their wedding! Caroline is from Brazil, and yes, like the stereotype that Brazilian women are gorgeous, she definitely is! Their wedding took place at St. Thomas More in Chapel Hill. I had not been there before, and it was just a wonderful church with nice lighting, beautiful grounds, and just a fabulous staff! The reception was small and intimate, and held at Chamas Brazilian Steakhouse in Brightleaf Square…YUM!!
Back to the beautiful bride…I loved her dress, and her flowers.

Congratulations Caroline and Marshall!! Thank you so much for having me as part of your wedding celebration!

I love first birthday sessions! I did Miss A’s older brother’s one year session two years ago, and although her mother claims she’s a much more “spirited” child, I thought she was just as sweet and adorable!

Three of my adorable nieces! I sometimes wish I had a daughter. I’m such a girly girl, and have such a fun time with my own mom. But I suppose I’ve learned quite a bit from being surrounded by boys! Anyway, the fact that I have SIX (and one more on the way soon!) cute, sweet nieces makes up for it!
Miss E wasn’t really into it! We did eventually get some smiles from her though!

Happy 2nd Birthday, sweet girl!

And one more because I *HEART* freckles! I’ve come to embrace mine, so I was super excited to see how incredibly adorable Miss G looks with hers! Not to mention her gorgeous eyes…I had to take a close up!

These two are SO cute! Little Miss E didn’t really want to give me any of her big smiles, but we still got some good shots of her! And her big brother definitely enjoyed the camera!

This is another wedding that it was just extra special for me to be a part of because I’ve known both the bride and groom for many years! And, not just Beth and Matt, but I’ve also known, and been photographing, their children for several years. In fact, Matt’s son Brenden was one of the first little guys I photographed many, many years ago! It was just awesome to be a part of them officially blending their families. Anyway, Beth and Matt were married at The Mavris in downtown Indianapolis, and it’s one of my favorite venues, definitely providing some awesome locations for pictures!

One of my favorites of Beth, her mom and her daughter…

Congratulations Beth and Matt! Thanks so much for having me as part of your wedding! It was wonderful to see everyone, and especially to see the two (or five, actually) of you so happy!

Yes, I do have a very charmed life! But I am actually talking about the awesome charm bracelet my mom gave me. I LOVE it! Seriously, how cute is this!?! I swear my mom has the best taste, she always picks out the coolest stuff! If you know her, you know what I’m talking about! I hope I have half as much style and class as her someday. And, my goodness, I hope I age as well as she does too!
Here’s the bracelet:

See the cute little camera charm? I can’t wait to get more charms!
I believe she got it at Orchard in Bloom, but they are available at: http://www.mycharmedlife.com/
They make great bridesmaid gifts! And, for all you New Orleans brides, they make cake pulls too.
Anyway, thanks mom!

All weddings are special to me, but this one was just extra wonderful to be a part of because I have known both the bride and groom for years. Not only was this wedding special because I knew just about everyone involved, but also because there was truly a personal element present throughout the entire event. I LOVE weddings at home, and theirs was held at Megan’s parents gorgeous home. Every detail was thought of and the end result was just beautiful. The Rehearsal Dinner was also very special. Chip’s mom Patti owns Oh Yumm Bistro and Catering at 56th and Illinois (quite possibly one of the best restaurants in Indy! If you haven’t been, go! Immediately. She also caters weddings and events!) His uncle owns G. Thrapp Jewelers right next door (again, by far one of the best in Indy!), so Patti actually catered the Rehearsal Dinner in the jewelry store. It was amazing how she transformed the space into an intimate and unique dining venue! And, finally, Megan owns Kiss Kiss Bang Bang salon in Fishers, so that’s where the girls got ready.

And one more to share…a big congratulations to (bridesmaid) Andrea and Tim whose wedding I photographed last year. They welcomed a sweet baby girl just a couple of weeks before the wedding! I have always known that Andrea would be an amazing mother, so it was wonderful to see her in action. Here is sweet little Miss H…

Thank you so much Megan and Chip for having me as part of your special day! It was so much fun, and I could not be happier for the two of you! Congratulations!!
