That’s too cute not to share! And another one that was a baby last time I saw her, and is now turning into a little girl as she approaches her 2nd birthday. She brought an entourage with her and definitely flourished with the undivided attention of 5 adults! Two of them, including her mom, were Zachary’s first grade teachers, who we miss so much, so it was great to see them! Ok, on to the cuteness…

I am working on so many sessions right now, I wish I had time to share them all on the blog! But this little one is just too adorable, I had to take a break to share a few images of her! The last time I saw her, she was a “baby” and this time, she showed up looking like such a big girl! But still, just as cute!
I promise to share more of my beautiful clients soon!

I have had a last minute cancellation on Sunday, November 1st in the afternoon for a Mini Session. These sessions were unadvertised but it would be the same as my regular Minis: $50 or $200 with the CD. Time is not quite set as I may shuffle a few others around, but let me know if you’re interested!!
And stay tuned, by strong request, I may be scheduling another Mini Session day in November!

Jema and Carson were so much fun – very laid back and easy to work with! They had a beautiful wedding at Sacred Heart Cathedral and reception at The Brownstone. We planned to stop for photos at the Arboretum in between, and it started raining as we were driving there. But, they were definitely troopers and didn’t let it stop us!
Again, congratulations, Jema and Carson!! And thank you for having me as part of your day!

Seriously, this was one of my favorite weddings ever! And Lainey was one of the most gorgeous brides ever! Lainey is a friend from high school, and I was so incredibly honored to be a part of her special day. Not just because the wedding was beautiful, elegant and fun, but because she has truly found a wonderful partner. I definitely enjoyed getting to know Clay and his family and friends! And I love Lainey’s family. I photographed her brother Chip’s wedding in May and discovered just how much fun her aunts, uncles and cousins are, so it was great to see them again, along with many old friends!
Lainey and Clay were married at the beautiful St. John’s in downtown Indianapolis, followed by a unique pre-reception party at her uncle’s jewelry store, G. Thrapp Jewelers , catered by her mom’s restaurant The Oh Yumm Bistro right next door, and a reception at Highland Country Club. Lainey has a professional background in event planning, so I knew everything would be spectacular, but she also had some assistance from the fabulous Leslie Jones with Leslie Jones Weddings. I love when my couples have great wedding planners – it really makes my job easier! It was a joy to work with Leslie!
Watching the Notre Dame game at Thrapp’s…

There are many more fun reception pictures, but that’s about all I have room for here! Again, congratulations Lainey and Clay! Thank you so much for having me as part of your day. It was amazing! And…happy early birthday, Lainey!!

Despite a little crazy weather, this year was another awesome year for the TriangleMommies Portrait Party! It is really so much fun to meet all these great families and their adorable kids each year! And, a huge thank you to all of the volunteers that made this event go so smoothly, especially Lori, our Fundraising Manager. She is involved with many projects in the community, and TM is lucky to have her! If you’re a member of TriangleMommies, but missed the Portrait Party, I do offer a TM discount and have other mini session dates coming up!
Ok, on to the pictures…
The online galleries should be up within a few days! And more to come from Round 2 soon!

I’m so excited about this! I now have a BOUNCE HOUSE, and here’s the best part – you can borrow it! How perfect is this, book a session around the time of your child’s birthday and use the bounce house for the party! Or you don’t even need a birthday as an excuse! It’s also available for nonprofits to use for their events. Here’s a picture, although it will soon have a cute little banner with my logo across the top. (If you look closely, you can see my little guy Mack peeking out the window – he’s not included!)

Another pair I’ve been photographing since before they were born! Although, this time around, we had a very determined-not-to-have-anything-to-do-with-pictures two year old on our hands. I got some pictures of his adorable big sister, while he refused to change his shirt (who can blame him – it was a Batman shirt, he’s a two year old boy, you do the math!) and got upset if I even turned the camera towards him. But, we didn’t force him, and after we were done, he started playing and I managed to snap a few of him. And, we did actually convince him to sit with his sister for a minute too!
